Abstract

Today, the requirements for the quality of maintenance and repair are tightening, and as well as the restoration of worn parts. Also a serious problem is the constant shortage spare parts for repair production, which reduces the technical readiness of the fleet of machines. To expand the production of spare parts, it is advisable to reuse worn out parts restored during the repair process. To increase the resource of remanufactured parts, it is necessary to use powder hard alloys. In an efficient mechanized way application of coatings of various thicknesses with powder hard alloys is a plasma hardfacing.Plasma surfacing is characterized by a high temperature of the compressed arc (about 1000 - 2000°C), concentrated input of heat into the product, which provides an increase performance of the welding process. During plasma cladding, materials are fed into the jet, which are completely melted, after which they are fed to the welded part, which heats up in the process overlays. Thus, in order to maintain the machine park in constant readiness, it is necessary expand and improve the operational base of existing repair enterprises. One of the bottlenecks is failure as a result of intensive wear of the camshafts ICE technology.
