PROMISING MODELS OF MULTILEVEL ARCHITECTURAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL OBJECTS (ON THE EXAMPLE OF URBAN ENSEMBLES OF SINGAPORE)
Abstract
The features of the formation of multilevel architectural and environmental complexes with a multifunctional
ensemble structure are considered. The aim of the study is to identify a number of promising models of multilevel
architectural and environmental objects based on the generalization of the experience of the formation of urban
ensembles in Singapore. The boundaries of the study include functional and spatial aspects of the consideration
and formation of such models. A structural and morphological approach to the study of urban ensembles is
proposed as a method of analysis. Three structural units are distinguished: a) spatial levels, b) functional zones; c)
communication links that "generate" a model "field of variants" of multilevel architectural and environmental
objects. Six models of similar objects on a functional and spatial basis are proposed, which can be applied in the
Russian practice of forming urban ensembles with a multi-level structure.
